Winterberries
Pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah ndash; 2010)
Pattern: A charm pack quilt, inspired by ldquo;Hugs and Kissesrdquo; from Hooked on Charms Two! by Paula Stoddard. From each block I used the corner pieces that normally would be discarded and made about 120 1-inch half-square triangles. From these I made the second inner border on this quilt. This more elaborate detail led me to nickname this my ldquo;Pain in the Buttrdquo; quilt, but the extra effort was worth it.
