Like most kids of my generation, I learned to read with the "Dick and Jane" series. I have been an avid reader all my life. My sister-in-law Barbara McFarlane purchased this nostalgic fabric line at least ten years ago and ended up passing it along to me. I had to wait several more years before this now hard-to-find vintage material spoke up and told me what it wanted to become. Working with this fabric has brought back so many memories of the magic contained within the covers of a good book.
