At a Snail's Pace
Pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah ndash; 2009).
This quilt is a study in color, contrast, and precision piecing. I also wanted to honor the quilterrsquo;s ethic of frugality by using leftovers for the 576 scraps of fabric that make up the 36 paper-pieced Snailrsquo;s Trail blocks.

This quilt was juried into the 40th annual Springville Museum of Art Quilt Exhibit and was displayed from mid-July through September 2010.
