Serendipity, or The Accidental Quilt
Traditional 4.5-inch nine-patch blocks set on point with alternating plain blocks, pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah ndash; 2009).)
The fabric in the nine patches originally was cut as rectangles for a piano-key border for my ldquo;Entwinedrdquo; quilt, but I ended up not liking that border. I picked it all out, took it all apart, and re-cut the fabric into 2-inch squares to make this quilt ndash; a serendipitous and happy surprise!
