Sanctuary
A sampler quilt of 25 different blocks, pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah ndash; 2009).
From July 2008 through June 2009, I attended a block-of-the-month group organized through our ward Relief Society and taught by Mindy Miller and her mom Marion Mellenthin. Mindy offered an ldquo;easyrdquo; block and a ldquo;hardrdquo; block, and most months I did both.
This is my first king-sized quilt and my first pieced border. I finished the binding on July 31, 2009. I made this quilt for our master bedroom, which I hope will always be a sanctuary for us.
