Ripe Bananas
A traditional postage stamp quilt pattern with 999 one-inch squares designed and pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah ndash; 2011).
I made this quilt entirely from scraps and leftovers. I sewed the squares into 111 three-inch nine-patch blocks (no strip piecing!) and set the blocks on point.
The name ldquo;Ripe Bananasrdquo; is a nod to both the color of the quilt and the fact that I must be just a little ldquo;bananasrdquo; to have pieced this!
