Pieced bybr/ strongKathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen/strongbr/ (Draper, Utah ndash; 2021)br/ br/ This is a totally serendipitous quilt.br/ br/ In making my quilt called ldquo;The Avenues,rdquo; I rescued the wasted cornersbr/ from flying geese rooftop blocks to make a freebie pile of 80 half-squarebr/ triangles. Still in love with the Grapemist Kona Solid background fabricbr/ from that quilt and having lots left over, I started playing with 2.5-inchbr/ squares and a setting that intrigued me. Rummaging around for borders,br/ I came across a big chunk of this scrumptious pear fabric from my 2019br/ Block-of-the-Month quilt, and I fell in love with it all over again.br/ br/ So basically, a whole bunch of misfits, oddballs, and neglected wondersbr/ jumped into this quilt and let me enjoy the experience.br/ br/ Quilted bybr/ strongEagle Mountain Quilting/strong
