In January, Moda launched an online Charm Pack Challenge with a quilt pattern that called for one charm pack and ¾ yard of background fabric.

Carol Lindsay, one of my quilting mentors, especially loved grays and Jen Kingwell fabrics. Among the fabrics I received posthumously from her were a few charm packs and yardage in blacks and grays as well as some Jen Kingwell Lollies. I used this, along with a periwinkle background fabric I had on hand, to make this quilt, including the backing.

I know that I am just the caretaker of this quilt for the time being. When the quilt gets around to telling me who it wants to belong to, I will write that name here.
