This quilt came into being after an odd assortment of lovely but neglected charm-sized fabric remnants called out to me, begging to be used. I love the quilters’ ethic of frugality, using up and giving place to every bit of fabric. This quilt also told me that it would make a great lap quilt or traveling quilt for car trips.

I know that I am just the caretaker of this quilt for the time being. When the quilt gets around to telling me who it wants to belong to, I will write that name here:
