How the Light Gets In

While making this quilt, I listened to Louise Pennyrsquo;s novel, How the Light Gets In. The title is based on lyrics from Leonard Cohenrsquo;s beautiful ldquo;Anthemrdquo; ndash; ldquo;Ring the bells that still can ring / Forget your perfect offering / There is a crack in everything / Thatrsquo;s how the light gets in.rdquo;
This quilt began as yet another way to use up some odd bits of fabric that were nagging at me, and now with a few fresh additions, it has become one of my favorites.
