Seeing Double

Seeing Double

Pieced by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah – 2008).

When my mom passed away, my friend Nancy Jones, who co-owns a quilt store in Midway, gave me a jelly roll of fabrics from Moda’s Shangri La line. I used a pattern from Quilts Through the Seasons by Eleanor Burns to make this quilt. The block is called Twin Sisters because when the fabric is cut, it makes two blocks, one “positive” and one “negative” in terms of matching fabrics done in opposites.

Don and Jon are important twins in my life, of course, and in Primary for the past three years, I have had a different set of twins in each class.

Custom quilted by Kathy Barlow (Brigham City, Utah)
Size is approximately 53 x 59 inches.
