How the Light Gets In

While making this quilt, I listened to Louise Penny’s novel, How the Light Gets In. The title is based on lyrics from Leonard Cohen’s beautiful “Anthem” – “Ring the bells that still can ring / Forget your perfect offering / There is a crack in everything / That’s how the light gets in.”
This quilt began as yet another way to use up some odd bits of fabric that were nagging at me, and now with a few fresh additions, it has become one of my favorites.
