Each month we learned about different vacation destinations along with the history of the country, popular sights to see, and the culture, arts, and languages of the people there.br/ br/ After I experimented with different layouts for these blocks, the one I liked most reminded me of mosaic floor tiles.br/ I found the following quotation by strongPresident Jimmy Carter/strong that represents not only what our quilt class focused on this year but also the message that this particular quilt seemed to want to give:br/br/ emstrongWe become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic.
