Phil's Quilt
A flannel rag quilt pieced and quilted by Mary Laura Wilhelmsen, with instructions and help from her mom, Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Draper, Utah). This was Maryrsquo;s first quilting effort and her first real use of a sewing machine!
Made in the summer of 2006 for her boyfriend Phil Sayles. Fabrics selected by Mary, who also cut out all the blocks and batting. Mary sewed about half of the Xes on the quilt ldquo;sandwichesrdquo; and pieced several of the rows together.
Size is 50 x 68 inches.
