Daughter's Denim
A blue jean rag quilt made by Kathy Cracroft Wilhelmsen (Austin, Texas ndash; 2003) for our daughter Mary.
My first quilt! When I told my sister-in-law Barbara McFarlane that I wanted to use Maryrsquo;s old jeans in a quilt, Barbara said she knew exactly the quilt I should do. She taught me this rag quilt technique and really encouraged me in this first effort.
I gave this quilt to Mary (along with similar quilts for David and Corey) on Christmas Day 2003. The jeans pockets were filled with gift cards, trinkets, candy, and other small items.
Size is 50 x 68 inches.
